How to patch Adobe InDesign CC 2019 14.0.1 Mac Full Software Edition
- During patching, please turn off Internet Connection
- Uninstall any version of InDesign on your computer(if you have any)
- Open folder 1 and mount install from Adobe InDesign CC 2019.dmg. Run it and close the program
- Open folder 2 and mount Adobe Zii 2019 4.1.1, double click on the tool
- Click Patch or Drag Adobe InDesign from you MAC and drop it on the tool
- Finish. ~ Enjoy!
** You need an Adobe account to activate InDesign CC. If the Trial expired, just create another account.

InDesign CC Server 2014 needs to be activated before it can be used. If the computer is online, activation is done automatically when you install. You need to provide your Adobe ID, and serial number when prompted by the installer. Unless the software is activated, you'll see an error, 'Adobe InDesign CC Server 2014’ is not properly licensed and will now quit.'
If your computer is not connected to the internet, download and install Adobe Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition (APTEE). You can serialize and activate the software using APTEE. You can download APTEE from the Creative Suite Enterprise Deployment page.

Software will not get deactivated during an offline uninstall. The computer must be online during uninstall to deactivate, else will lose an activation count.
To activate the Trial version, download and install Adobe Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition (APTEE). You can use the trial for a period of 90 days.
- In a terminal or console window, enter:
- Windows: adobe_prtk --tool=StartTrial --leid=V7{}InDesignServer-10-Win-GM
- Mac OS: adobe_prtk --tool=StartTrial --leid=V7{}InDesignServer-10-Mac-GM
- If trial is successfully activated, the following message displays:

Your computer must be online when you follow this procedure.
- In a terminal or console window, enter:

- Mac OS: adobe_prtk --tool=Serialize --leid=V7{}InDesignServer-10-Mac-GM --serial=<serialNumber> --adobeid=<email>
- If serialization is successful, the following message displays:

- Copy the prov.xml file to a folder on the computer that is running InDesign Server and run the following command:adobe_prtk --tool=VolumeSerialize --provfile={absolute path of the prov.xml file on the target machine}

- InDesign stops responding if the user clicks on Manage Creative Cloud account (without first syncing settings) after 24 hours since InDesign has been running.
- InDesign might stop responding on dragging any facing pages master to beside None master in Pages panel.
- On Mac 10.7.5 (or older versions), when you click Migrate previous local settings, InDesign/InCopy quits but does not restart automatically (required) for migrating old version settings. Workaround: Manually relaunching the application would complete the settings migration.
- InDesign stops responsing when we generate table of contents when make text anchor in source paragraph option is set to On and InCopy stories are checked in the document. Workaround is that we first checkout all InCopy stories before generating the TOC.
